- Sheriff targeting drunken drivers -
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office will be out in force for Spring Break looking for drunken drivers.
The sheriff will have target patrol out on Montgomery County streets from March 12 through March 21. Through grant funds from the state, the deputies will specifically target intoxicated drivers.
“The problem of drunk driving will not solve itself and the deadly consequences of driving during are obvious,” said Lt. Dan Norris of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. “Each person can and should do something about drunk driving.”

With warmer weather finally returning to Texas, The Woodlands has a lineup of hot events planned for the spring and summer.
This season’s offerings in the community include music, movies, arts, fireworks, parades and festivals for the whole family to enjoy.
“As always, we have an amazing lineup of fun things to do, see and participate in,” said Nelda Luce Blair, chairwoman of the township and The Woodlands Convention & Visitors Bureau. “Not only does it bring in visitors, but it is something the residents get to enjoy too.”
